Overview
The 18th Annual Radiation Oncology Symposium - Best of is a CME accredited course that will provide attendees with the new changes in standards of care and treatment modalities that have occurred in the past year. This includes the latest developments in treating the following cancers: genitourinary, head & neck, central nervous system, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, breast, thoracic/sarcoma, and lymphoma/pediatrics. Online access to course materials and recordings will be available to registrants after the course concludes, for 10 months.

Objectives
  1. At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  2. 1. Describe current treatment options for various malignancies.
  3. 2. Assess important studies and clinical trials in radiation oncology.
  4. 3. Review the role and indications for radiation therapy.

Accreditation

The University of Maryland School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
