Overview

Unfortunately, the Maryland Critical Care Conference, scheduled for March 23, 2020, at the MSTF Leadership Hall, has been cancelled.  On March 10th, the University of Maryland Baltimore issued guidelines regarding cancellation of meetings/conferences related to the concerns of the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).  

We plan to reschedule this course in the near future, after we are given specific guidelines from the University of Maryland Baltimore. Unless you request a refund, all registration payments will be transferred to the new course date, once it is determined.  To request a refund, please email Robertha Simpson at [email protected].

Objectives
  1. At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  2. 1. Describe the potential use of simulation for resuscitation training.
  3. 2. Describe the use of echocardiography during cardiac arrest resuscitation.
  4. 3. Explain the rationale and implementation strategy for targeted temperature management after cardiac arrest.
  5. 4. Discuss the potential use of intra-aortic approaches for resuscitation of patients with refractory cardiac arrest.
